Author Visit- James L. Pope

Fourth graders received a visit from author, Jim Pope, of Waupaca, Wisconsin today. In coordination with the Rural Heritage Reading Project, Mr. Pope came to our classrooms, shared stories about his childhood and then read from his book Everyday Adventures of a Farm Boy in the '50s. Every child received a door prize of either an arrowhead, a wooden stick pencil or a collection of stamps. Better yet -- each child received an autographed copy of this beautiful hardcovered book!
