The 2012 celebration marks the 14th anniversary of NEA's reading program and the 109th birthday of Dr. Seuss. The spotlight will be on Dr. Seuss' environmental lessons of The Lorax and a partnership with NBC/Universal's movie, The Lorax, which will open in theaters on Friday, March 2, 2012.
The many activities that are planned for that week include a breakfast with green eggs and ham, a Happy Birthday cupcake, an "I Love To Read" bracelet, bookmark, and an ice cream coupon! Please be sure to attend school to get your lovely gifts!
There will also be special dress-up days allowed for next week. They are as follows:
Tuesday- Favorite Color Day
Wednesday- Crazy Socks Day
Thursday- Pajama Day
Friday- Hat Day
