Tree Planting Success- 66 Trees

Today 4th graders planted a total of 66 trees, found a lot of wood ticks, went on a nature hike, and discovered a lot of the living things we talked about in science class over the last couple of weeks. Students brought back to school some samples of mosses found on the ground and cones from various coniferous trees. We added these specimens to our science table. Now we can enjoy looking at them every day!

Thanks again, 4th graders, for the hard work you did today: digging the hole, placing the tree, replacing the dirt, stamping it down, and then watering it. The Earth appreciates all that you did today!
