Today we will be starting the Pizza-Hut Book-It Program. Students MUST read 20 minutes every night and have the title of the book they read written in their Agenda with a parent signature in order to have their reading time count!
At the end of every month, I take the total number of school days and then divide it by how many days that they actually read. Anyone who has a percentage of 85% or higher, will then receive a Pizza-Hut Certificate for a free personal pan pizza for that month! How neat is that? Just remember to continue reading at night!
Students who become All-Star Readers, students who have read and received a Pizza-Hut Certificate for all 6 months of the program, will have a special party with Mrs. Ledvina at the very end- usually sometime in April. Good luck and try hard!!!!
