Necedah fourth grade will be going on their first field trip on Thursday, October 8th. We will be traveling to historic Portage with a stop at the Fort Winnebago's Surgeon Quarters and the Old Indian Agency House. We will visit Pauquette Park for lunch. For lunch students need to bring a sack lunch from home or purchase a sack lunch from the school. There will be no hot food served at the park. You may bring $10.00 or less to spend at the gift shops. There will be one gift shop at the Surgeon Quarters and another one at the Old Indian Agency House. So please remember to spend your money wisely! (Also, it is your responsibility to look after your money. If you lose it, it's gone.)
Chaperones are on a first come, first serve basis. If you are interested in coming to the historic Portage field trip, please let me know ASAP in your child's agenda book, a note sent to school, an e-mail, or a quick call after school. We can only take 4 chaperones on this field trip.
